Astor Room
The largest function room within the InterContinental, offering 2546 square feet / 237 square meters of function space for up to 300 people, is perfect for the VIP mid-size corporate conference or breakfast / lunch event. In the evening, the Astor Room's elegant surroundings provide the ultimate atmosphere for that dream wedding or New York social affair. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the room allow for an abundance of natural light.
Whitney Room
Recently restyled to complement the classic architecture of the hotel's main Lobby and additional function rooms, the Whitney Room offers wonderful sight lines and high ceilings for that important presentation for up to 150 for a meeting or 120 for a banquet. Many of the paintings throughout this space originated from the hotel's 1926 opening.
Park Avenue and Manhattan Rooms
The two newest additions to the InterContinental, these breathtaking rooms are located just off the main Lobby, providing easy accessibility to many of the hotel's additional services such as the Business Center, hotel shops, restaurant / bar.
2nd Floor Function Space
All six of these function rooms are located one floor above our Lobby and offer a decor of soothing blues and off-white tones, complemented by crystal chandeliers and sconces. All rooms provide oversized windows for natural light, making them seem even larger than their current size.
3rd Floor Function Space
Perhaps the most regal in ambience of all our function space, the 3rd floor flows with rich wood paneling and hand-painted murals both within the function space itself and throughout the corridors. Offering the feel of many of Park Avenue's banking and financial headquarters, this space is sought by many of the local corporations for that important board meeting or corporate gathering. These rooms have been strategically designed, offering two rooms within one, allowing groups to both meet and feed by way of French doors throughout each area.
